The story of The Table
What is now a flourishing community began with the surprise relocation of the Adams family from their home & church community in Boston, USA, to Cape Town, SA in 2024.
Their move led to a wild rollercoaster over the following year - settling their family, finding a home, and discovering that God was orchestrating a new church plant from them in the city.
In June 2025, they began meeting with a small group to pray and dream in the living room of a little rental in Constantia and quickly realised that what God was calling them to would not last for long there, as soon as there were not enough chairs for people in that packed-out space!
The Table Cape Town officially launched in its new home in Woodstock in January 2026. God has set us on a wild adventure of seeing how Jesus brings people, encounters us & proves faithful to every one of His promises - even the craziest ones.

Come
We love meeting together & doing life with one another - this isn’t simply sporadic attendance for special services, but gathering together regularly is central to the rhythm of our lives.
Belong
Our heart is for everyone to find a place of belonging & connection at our Table. Foundational to making the Table home is attending one of our Belonging courses & joining a community group.
Serve
Home is where every family member contributes with their gifts, time, & energy to serve the whole! Join one of our serving teams, & having the joy of stewarding our community together.
Give
Generosity is central to who we are - sowing financially together to see God’s Kingdom come in and through our family.
