The story of The Table
What is now a flourishing community began with the surprise relocation of the Adams family from their home & church community in Boston, USA, to Cape Town, SA in 2024.
Their move led to a wild rollercoaster over the following year - settling their family, finding a home, and discovering that God was orchestrating a new church plant from them in the city.
In June 2025, they began meeting with a small group to pray and dream in the living room of a little rental in Constantia and quickly realised that what God was calling them to would not last for long there, as there were not enough chairs for people in that packed-out space!
The Table Cape Town officially launched in its new home in Woodstock in January 2026. God has set us on a wild adventure of seeing how Jesus brings people, encounters us & proves faithful to every one of His promises - even the craziest ones.
